Unish Kuri>History and Status

A trendy magazine for young adults, Unish Kuri is itself amongst the youngest members of ABP. Launched on July 4, 2003, it is the first and only Bengali teen magazine and provides youngsters with a platform to air their feelings in an atmosphere of information mingled with entertainment. A friend, companion and guide to its readers, the magazine’s popularity led it to bigger things with the launch of Career in 2004. In July, that same year, Unish Kuri Club was launched, to create a sense of community among its readers and to provide them with an interactive platform.

Over the years, the Unish Kuri movement has grown in the form of merchandising through greeting cards, mugs and the Unish Kuri fashion label — ‘uk’, launched in 2005.
